We're getting married!!

Jekyll Island, Georgia
Tucked along Georgia's Golden Isles, Jekyll Island is a hidden gem - a barrier island where live oaks draped in Spanish moss shade quiet roads, and the Atlantic stretches endlessly beyond white-sand shores.
Once a private retreat for America's most storied families, Jekyll Island still carries that sense of timeless escape. We chose it for its quiet magic: the golden light at dusk, the sound of the surf, and the feeling that the whole world has slowed down.
We can't wait to share our special celebration with you at this storied and beautiful island!
Jekyll Island, Georgia - one of the barrier islands along Georgia's Golden Isles coast.
Fly into Jacksonville (JAX) or Savannah (SAV) - both are about an hour's drive to Jekyll Island. Alternatively, connect through Atlanta to Brunswick Golden Isles (BQK), which is just 15–20 minutes from the island.
October on Jekyll Island means warm days, gentle breezes, and sea-glass skies. Expect highs of around 80 and lows of 60
We are getting married at the iconic Jekyll Island Club Resort- we've reserved a room block - details coming soon!
Built in 1888 as the exclusive winter retreat of America's most powerful dynasties - the Vanderbilts, Rockefellers, Morgans, and Pulitzers - the Jekyll Island Club Resort is a National Historic Landmark and one of the most storied properties in the American South. We can't think of a more magical place to celebrate!
The iconic 1888 Clubhouse is the heart of the resort - beautifully restored with updated rooms and suites, riverfront verandas lined with rocking chairs, manicured gardens, and a croquet lawn that feels straight out of another era.
Three opulent Gilded Age mansion cottages sit steps from the Clubhouse, each once privately owned by America's elite. They offer grand communal living rooms, lush grounds, and a rare sense of history you can actually sleep in.
From a hot breakfast at The Pantry to fresh seafood and live music over the water at The Wharf, the resort has four dining outlets and a central bar. End the evening at The Bar with a nightcap and good stories.
Bike rentals, a year-round pool, croquet on the front lawn, beach access, complimentary shuttles across the grounds, kayaking, paddleboarding, trolley tours of the Historic District, and dolphin watches along the coast.
Set on 5,700 acres of the most undisturbed land on the Golden Isles - ancient live oaks draped in Spanish moss, serene river views, and the Atlantic just beyond. A place where time genuinely slows down.
Jekyll Island has over 20 miles of paved paths weaving through maritime forest and along the shore. Rent bikes and explore at your own pace - it's the quintessential Jekyll experience.
One of the most hauntingly beautiful beaches in the South - bleached driftwood sculptures rise from the sand against the open Atlantic sky. Sunrise here is unforgettable.
Wander the Jekyll Island Club Historic District, a National Historic Landmark where Gilded Age cottages and the grand Club Hotel tell the story of America's most exclusive retreat.
A working sea turtle hospital and education center. Meet rescued sea turtles up close - a wonderful stop, especially if you're bringing little ones.
Jekyll Island is a premier birding destination along the Atlantic Flyway. October is peak migration season - keep your eyes on the sky for raptors and shorebirds.
From Low Country seafood to casual coastal bites - explore Tortuga Jack's, The Wharf, and dining at the Jekyll Island Club. Fresh Georgia shrimp is a must.
Head to the marshside of the island at golden hour. The tidal marshes glow amber and rose - bring a drink and settle in. Georgia sunsets don't disappoint.
Cast a line from the Jekyll Fishing Pier or paddle the estuaries and creeks by kayak. The tidal marshes are alive with wildlife and a perfect morning activity.
